History

In 1939, 2nd-generation funeral director Holt A. Maher founded Salon Funéraire Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton, New Brunswick. It served not only as a funeral home but also as an ambulance service. Throughout the years, the company grew, opening additional funeral homes in Dalhousie, Val d’Amour and Balmoral.

And as the company grew, so did our range of funeral options. We now offer everything from a wholly traditional church funeral and cemetery burial to a modern celebration of life with live music, catering and a send-off that reflects the personality and passions of yourself or your loved one.
